Szmul Grinberg, residing in Brooklyn, USA, sought compensation for harm to health, liberty, and education due to Nazi persecution starting in September 1939 in Konskie, Poland. From 1940, he was a forced laborer and was later imprisoned in Skarżysko-Kamienna concentration camp, where he was beaten, contracted typhus, and suffered frostbite. URO offices in New York, Frankfurt, and Tel Aviv, along with the Union O.S.E., were involved in his case.
