Chaja Giles, residing in Tel Aviv, Israel, sought restitution for precious metal items and jewelry surrendered in David-Grodek in the fall of 1941. The property belonged to her parents, Efraim Mekler and Breindl Mekler née Murawczyk, who went missing in David-Grodek around 1942, along with her five siblings.
