Sara Kellner from Tel Aviv, Israel, sought compensation for harm to health due to persecution, which included forced emigration from Czechoslovakia in 1939, illegal immigration to Palestine as part of the Aliyah Bet, and internment in the Atlith camp until March 1940. Compensation was also sought for harm to life due to the death of her first husband, Ernst Bendikowski, and for harm to her profession as a corset maker. Her four brothers perished in the Auschwitz concentration camp.
For harm to life, she was awarded 13,376 DM, and for harm to profession, a monthly pension starting at 200 DM, later increased to 250 DM.
The United Restitution Organization (URO) offices in Tel Aviv and Frankfurt am Main were involved in the case.
After Sara Kellner's death on November 9, 1976, her heir, Gerschon Kellner, continued the claim.
