Golda Thaler, residing in Tel Aviv, Israel, seeks compensation for harm to profession regarding her employment as a secretary at the Zionist Organization for Germany and the Palestine Office in Berlin, which was terminated due to her emigration under Nazi persecution in December 1933. Prior to this, she worked at the Eschkol-Verlag while attending the Berliner Abend-Gymnasium, but had to leave school in April 1933 due to increasing antisemitism, abandoning her plans to become a statistician. A specific persecution incident occurred in July or August 1933, when Nazi officials disrupted a Zionist meeting and harassed her, which prompted her immediate decision to emigrate to Palestine on December 23, 1933. After her arrival, she worked as a youth group leader, joined Kibbutz Givath Brenner, was employed by the Haavarah organization, and from 1940 to 1945, worked for the Hitachduth Olej Germania. Under her BEG claim, she received DM 35,000 for harm to profession and DM 5,000 for harm to education. For her claim under § 31d BWGÖD, she accepted a one-time settlement of DM 10,000 in November 1968. The United Restitution Organization (URO) offices in Tel Aviv and Cologne handled the case.
