The claimant filed a claim for restitution of household items and jewelry seized as part of the Möbel-Aktion. The claimant was deported to the labor camp near Sedan at the end of 1942, fled around July 1944, and lived in hiding until liberation. After the war, she found her apartment empty and immigrated in 1952. Following her death on February 22, 1968, her daughter continued the claim, which was filed under § 44a of the Federal Restitution Law (BRUG) for a hardship fund. The daughter has her own private claim for restitution of household items. In 1967, the maximum expected compensation was estimated at 5/6 of DM 2,200, but the file was closed in 1971 as the claim was deemed unenforceable because the heir failed to provide required documents and fees. The offices in Tel Aviv, Berlin, and Paris were involved in the case.
